The songs on III explore loss of self-identity and the struggle to maintain a grip on reality amid the 40-character-or-less race to the bottom.  Drawing inspiration from the likes of Beach House, Radiohead, Elliott Smith and Nirvana, Suntrodden III continues to mine a minimalist vein of lightly orchestrated indie-pop songs that have a cautiously optimistic sentiment.
